I often get asked to share more of my music with readers of my site and blog.

I just got my newest song, "Another Way" back from my producer, Gary Gray.

This is the first track from a new album in the works that marks a return to my roots of more guitar oriented, bluesy, "jammy", rock tracks.

I'm sharing this with you before I share it with anyone else. I wanted you to hear it first.

I'm really excited about this track and the entire project.

Check it out below and let us know what you think.
Another Way
I dreamt of you again last night
It’s been so long
time just moves on
And though I chose to walk away
I wish you knew
that I wish I stayed
But all the choices that we’ve made
Have all been made

And yesterday is gone
and tomorrow waits
and right here where I am
I know it’s not too late
to turn this page
and find another way

And in my dream it felt so real
It felt just like
It used to feel
And all my sorrow went away
when I realized
it was not too late
But then my dream it turned to grey
I lied awake

And yesterday is gone
and tomorrow waits
and right here where I am
I know it’s not too late
to turn this page
and find another way

Nice song with an inspirational vibe!

Noticed that the title was a bit slow in coming in and wasn't repeated that often throughout the song. Amazingly, though, that was enough. It worked. Not being critical, just pointing out what seemed like one of those times when "breaking" a rule was quite effective. Can't wait to get my songs sounding so pristinely clear and with a nice groove.

Hi Aaron

Thanks for sharing your song. Nice work. To me, the song has a James Taylor vibe to it. Love how the song continuously builds into a very plush and choral finish. Lots of backing vocals. Cool bass line. Nice big choruses that contrast nicely with the verses.

Cheers
Amos

Hey thanks Amos. We went back and forth a bit on the chorus until we got it just right. Thanks for noticing!

Dreary... sorry Aaron!
The vocals are sort of indie but the song is sort of pop/rock
Chorus doesn't really jump out!
Song structure is there.. and a good length, it just lacks definition in the parts IMHO
The song has Santana-ish vibe but doesn't go anywhere...

this is nit-picking... that said this is what music supervisors do as you have said numerous times. The production is great!

Thanks for posting.
